Wedding Shoes for your Wedding Day

Yes, the wedding dress is one of the most exciting purchases in your life, but what about the Shoes??? A website we love and recommend often to our clients is My Glass Slipper. They offer a variety of wedding shoe designers, including one of our favorites, Badgley Mischka and Kate Spade. And looking for something a little more fun? They have a colored wedding shoes section where you can custom die shoes to match your wedding colors or just browse the existing selection they have.  And if you order $10 worth of foot cushions (much needed on a long wedding day) they will ship your order for free.

Vera Wang Perfume on your Wedding Day

Oh we love Vera Wang! And particularly we love her gorgeous bridal perfume! With scents of calla lilies, mandarin blossom, and rose and gardenia notes you are sure to not only look but smell like a blushing bride wearing her scent on her wedding day.

A quick note for some tips that we tell all of our Chicago wedding planning couples: Make sure to put your perfume on before you put on your dress so as not to stain your dress when you spray. Putting it on your neck, even your heels will ensure you smell  gorgeous during your wedding day.

You can purchase her bridal perfume at Perfume!  And you can read about all of Vera Wang fragrances and perfumes on their perfume dedicated website!

Popular Wedding Colors: Green Ideas

It’s Christmas time! Green and red colored decorations are all around us.  Where ever you may venture this holiday season it will be hard not to notice these Christmas colors.  When it comes to picking a color scheme for your wedding it’s easiest to start with a base and then pick accent colors.  In my opinion, green is a color that goes with every season.

Germania Place offers two ballrooms.  The Royal Ballroom seats up to 230 guests and the Grand Ballroom can seat up to 400 guests.  The nice thing about these two unique rooms is that they can be combined via a set of double doors.  A great way to incorporate both is to use the Royal Ballroom for cocktails and appetizers and the Grand Ballroom for dinner and dancing.  For smaller weddings, a balcony which overlooks the Grand Ballroom can accommodate 175 guests for cocktails.
